Our Promise
* We (Fancy Lighting Ltd) promise to meet all our obligations to you (The Consumer) as set out under the consumer protection laws in force in the United Kingdom at this time. These are:-
* The Sale of Goods Act 1979
* The Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982
* The Trade Descriptions Act 1968
* The Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 /1994
* The Consumer Protection Act 1987
* The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
Warranty
* All products in this catalogue with the exception of lamps come with at least a 1 year manufacturer’s guarantee against faulty workmanship and materials. If an item carries a longer guarantee this is indicated on the relevant product information page.
* Products found to be faulty immediately after purchase will be replaced F.O.C and all carriage charges met by Fancy Lighting Ltd
* Products that are found to be faulty after a period of use will be repaired or replaced dependant on the nature of the fault and the urgency required.
* Products that have been incorrectly fitted, used in an inappropriate manner or generally abused will not be repaired or replaced under guarantee.
Short Deliveries
* All goods are inspected by Fancy Lighting Ltd before despatch however goods can be damaged or lost in transit.
* Claims for damaged goods or shortages on delivery must be made within three days of receipt of your consignment. This is a requirement of our carriers for insurance purposes. The date of delivery will be as recorded by our carriers. Late claims cannot be accepted.
Returns
* Fancy Lighting Ltd have a 7-day no reason returns policy for all products as required under the Distance Selling Regulations of 2000.
* The following conditions apply to all returns of this type:-
* You must inform us in writing within 7 Days of receipt of your order that you wish to return them. The date of delivery will be as recorded by our carriers.
* Goods must be returned in their original packaging, complete with all other associated components sent with them i.e. lamps.
* Goods should not have been installed, modified or used in any way and should be in an undamaged condition
* The cost of returning the goods and insuring them against loss or damage will be deducted from the refund of the purchase price.
* Your refund will be made within 14 days of return of the goods.
Carriage and Shipping
* DELIVERY IS FREE TO ALL UK MAINLAND ADDRESSES FOR ORDERS WITH A TOTAL GOODS VALUE OF £50.00. Offshore UK addresses and EU Member states may still incur a carriage charge which will be advised and agreed before despatch.
* Delivery of goods will normally be 3 – 10 days from receipt of order, in the unlikely event that we are unable to meet this delivery schedule you well be contacted and given the option to cancel or amend your order. If you want your goods delivered on a particular day of the week, (weekdays only) please enter details at Checkout or advise us by email or telephone.
Product Descriptions and Images
* This Catalogue is best viewed at resolutions of 800x600 or above and High, 16bit colour depth or above.
* Lamp sizes quoted are the maximum sizes recommended by the manufacturer and should not be exceeded under any circumstances even for short periods of time.
* Dimensions stated are as quoted to us by the relevant manufacturer and have been reproduced as accurately as possible.
* Dimensions given for lighting products are for the main body of the assembly only and do not include the pendant chain and ceiling fixture on pendant style fittings as they are customer adjustable.
Installation
* All products must be installed by a qualified electrician and must be earthed where necessary. Incorrect installation can be dangerous and will invalidate the product guarantee
* Fancy Lighting Ltd will not accept any liability for personal injury caused by improper installation.
Your Statutory Rights are not affected.
