Notes On Dimmer Selection

All our dimmers have the following features::

Suitable for Tungsten and / or Low Voltage using the same Units.
Soft Start : No need to derate for mains halogen lamps. (GU10 Lamps must incorporate an internal fuse)
Low Voltage units are suitable for use only with transformers compatible with leading edge technology such as Electronic and Inductive transformers for 12v Halogen Fittings
.
In short, they will should dim everything except G4 12v Halogen lamps which require Trailing Edge Dimmers and Fluorescent Lamps which are not normally dimmable.
